Our Main Hall at Ross Street Community Centre is a large open space with lots of natural light.
It measures approximately 11.6 m x 7.3m, and can hold up to 70 people standing, or 60 seated.
The Main Hall is a bright space with a high wooden beamed ceiling and real wooden flooring making it an appealing space for exercise groups, away days, community music, community engagement events, parties and dance rehearsals.
The Main Hall is equipped with a new projector screen / HDMI connection point, hearing loop and toilets (male/female/accessible with baby change) and a brand new, fully equipped kitchen..
The Main Hall is often used for celebration events and when hiring this room we also offer a toy hire package for a small additional fee.
This room is used frequently by a large variety of community organisations, such as the City Council's holiday lunches, as well as local business workshops and seminars.
The hall has a new AV system with built-in projector.
Pricing
£13 per hour indicative rate (see note below)
Our hire rates for this space start at £13.65. We can offer our lowest rate for fee entry, community focused events. Other rates apply to paid for events.
Note: The indicative rate above, provided by the venue, is designed to allow you to estimate the total cost of hiring a space. A number of other factors may influence the final cost and this should be agreed, in writing, between you and the venue prior to a booking being confirmed.
Access
Any users of this centre will be given a formal induction of the building before there event is scheduled to take place. They will then be issued with a key in order for them to gain access to the building.
